Kailan Dunn Jr. of Naches, Washington is a 5th generation member of a Yakima Valley apple growing family. We found him preparing to enjoy a Washington State University football game on a cool Saturday October autumn afternoon. The loyalty to this school is multi-generational in his family, too. Kailan and his great uncle A. D. Dunn stepped out to the orchard to gather fresh off the tree crispy apples for his Waldorf Salad just before kickoff time. | |
