SALADMASTER COOKWARE is very expensive, very durable, multi-ply stainless steel aluminum core water-less cookware that we can't live without. Yes, there are some things more valuable and useful than gold, diamonds, or expensive automobiles. We've owned two sets of these pots and pans. Gave the first (well-used) set to our daughter as an heirloom wedding present. We expect it to be passed on to our great grandchildren. You can burn meals to a charcoal crisp (that happens to us when we take business calls during food prep times) scour the pot out (no melt down!) and polish it up shinny. View our 15+ year old set (purchased used). A 1 quart sauce pan retails at $368 at Saladmaster's home demonstration parties. But sometimes you can get a 17 or 21 piece demonstration set from $1,100 to $1,400 (new $2,270 to $2,630). You can also check for used sets on e-bay. They are practically indestructible, so a used set is just as useful for cooking as a new one. |

Masters College
Department
of Home Economics Believe it or not,
in a day in which home and family care are considered by the popular
culture as secondary if not inferior to making money and bearing
influence in the market place, there is a Christian college in Southern
California that believes in training young women in the art and science
of home making. For information on a thriving Biblically principled

Lewis foundation and to enjoy an acquaintance with Dr. Stanley Matson, founder and president, as the Kilns have been restored and the Oxbridge Conferences expand. My husband has been reading Lewis for 50 years. I've read all of the Narnia Chronicles to our children multiple times. We took an 8 year old girl and her mother to the first American screening of The Chronicles of Narnia. What a delight to observe her response. See: www.cslewis.org/

The
Gospel of John The Film We
were impressed. Really! As amateur film buffs we were mesmerized by the
superb action. In fact much of the story is conveyed by expression,
a turn of the head, through the actors' eyes, and not simply
through dialog. Of course, the scenes that caught our attention were the
food events--wedding wine, woman who thought she might get indoor plumbing
(a river of life, instead), catering to a crowd, listening and serving
with Mary and Martha, and the big fish catching beach breakfast finale.
We plan to get the DVD and show excerpts in our Taste & Tell
Workshops. See www.gospelofjohnthefilm.com
